We got to know them through Benidorm Fest 2023, where they took 4th place with the song “Arcadia”. Their eccentric appearance, of course, along with their rock style, did not go unnoticed. The word is for the Spanish group Megara, who will try their luck at Una Voce per San Marino 2024, in order to represent the small state in the Eurovision 2024!
More specifically, yesterday San Marino television, SMRTV published the list of the names of the artists selected through online casting in Una Voce per San Marino 2024. Based on this list, the Spanish band Megara will compete to claim a place in the grand final of the festival!
During the online casting, the participants will sing half a song live and half a playback, while the dates have not yet been announced.
The selection process of Una Voce per San Marino!
The date of the final of “Una Voce per San Marino” is Saturday 24 February 2024. Two semi-finals will still be held on 15 and 16 February with the contestants having the choice of performing live in front of the jury at 100% or they use half playback.
- Applications will be open until January 10, 2024.
- Academy and Casting sessions begin on November 10, 2023, with the latter taking place on January 20, 2024.
- Casting can also be done online for contestants who live in countries that do not border Italy
- From the Casting sessions, 80 or more semi-finalists will be selected.
- Only one song (the Eurovision 2024 song) will be sung in the semi-finals.
