Hitchhiking to the host city is undoubtedly not the most outrageous thing someone would do if asked what the craziest thing they would do to attend to the Eurovision contest is. Particularly if you’re the first one in the odds and you’ve previously misplaced your luggage including clothes at the airport.
And yet, Nemo, the Swiss representative in Eurovision 2024, who was formerly tipped as the clear favorite, is hitchhiking to Malmö, Sweden, accompanied only by a single friend. Nemo plans to travel from Zurich to Frankfurt, then as far north as possible, in order to arrive in Malmö in time for the first technical rehearsal on Monday, May 29.
