Marina Satti had her first interview as a representative of Greece in the Eurovision 2024! Through ERT1 and “Studio 4”, Marina Satti spoke in fully detail to Nancy Zampetoglou and Thanasis Anagnostopoulos about the decision to say yes and about the process that will be going on until the song is chosen and of course about the journey to Malmö in May 2024.
Of course, the Greek fans and not only, have expressed their enthusiasm for this choice and both from ERT and MINOS-EMI sides, the procedures are progressing steadily and with a view to continue the warm acceptance they have received for the remaining 6 months until the Greek delegation will head to Sweden for the Eurovision.
Some of her statements:
I’m not that stressed so far. Everything is pretty familiar to me.
My neighbors in Nea Smyrni are all very happy. I feel like a national hero.
Everything that happens is for all the people that support me. It’s not just for myself.
My brother was the first to know that I will represent Greece.
I want to think about each of my goals clearly. The songs that have been submitted so far are pretty good through this process as well.
I want the project that I will make to be modern, relevant, for the people abroad to catch the vibe. For me, I want to show who we are today!
Italian Mahmood is quite my favorite Eurovision artist.
SAGAPO by Michalis Rakintzis stands out to me as one of my favourites.
