Marina Satti, the representative of Greece in Eurovision 2024, made a statement through her official Instagram account. She denied all the rumors that circulated from a Greek Eurovision site, about listening and rejecting all the songs sent to ERT!
More specifically, Marina Satti, after a website dealing with Eurovision republished news that she has heard all the songs and rejected them, was forced to deny the news, and talk about fake news! In the previous days there was a rumor that our representative listened to 150 songs that were sent to ERT and that she rejected them all, not being happy with the result.
In the following photos you will see all the posts of Marina Satti through her Instagram account. He categorically denies what has been heard from Greek television and also many websites dealing with the subject of Eurovision 2024.
Well, the fact that I personally listened to 150 songs and rejected them all, I wanted to know how it came about. The only reason I’m getting involved is purely out of respect for fellow composers. I know what it’s like to write songs and devote time, energy and love into getting something out of you, so I’m telling you this information is NOT true. When EVERYONE has finished listening to all the songs that have been sent to ERT we will officially let you know about the outcome! I personally thank all the composers who put their love and time and thought and responded to ERT’s open proposal.
According to Marina Satti’s management team, information about the song that will represent us and more details will be known after Christmas.
