Some time ago, Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2023 was completed! Tonight’s winner was The Busker, and will travel to Liverpool, UK, to represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023!
Tonight’s presenters of the show were Glen Vella, the country’s representative at Eurovision 2011 and Amber, the country’s representative at Eurovision 2015, adding their own special touch of sparkle to the night!
Tonight’s evening started with a dance act, during which toningt’s participants were presentes. The crowd was cheering for each and everyone of them, making the night even more tense and interesting!

16 artists competed in tonight’s grand final of Malta Eurovision Song Contest!
The names that “fought” today for a place in Liverpool and in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, in order of appearance, were as follows:

The guests of Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2023!
Firstly, a group of dancers performed a medley of Eurovision hits from 2018 and 2019! Replay, Fuego, She got me, Chameleon were the songs performed, and of course they got the crowd going!
Later on, Aidan appeared, one of the big favourites last year and this year at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest, performing Ritmu. With this song last year he had finished second in the national final of Malta. This year, he did not get the chance to participate as he was disqualified by the Maltese channel after the quarter finals.
After Aidan’s show, the two presenters of the evening, sang a duet of various Eurovision hits, such as Running Scared, Euphoria and other favourite Eurovision songs.
Finally, Emma Muscat appeared as a guest in Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2023, singing her last year’s song “I am what I am” and other hits.
The results!
The outcome of tonight’s show was decided 50% by the jury voting and 50% by the televoting.
The televoting and the jury votes shaped the final result, bringing The Busker to the top of the scoreboard. The results of the jury were announced first, followed by the results of the televote.
After the results, it was announced that The Busker will represent Malta at Eurovision 2023!
