Only two weeks separate us from the grand final of Junior Eurovision 2023 and Ogae Greece continues the presentation of the entries with the third part.
🇮🇪 Ireland
Ireland has been participating in the competition since 2015, but without particularly good results, having only managed to finish in the top ten twice. But last year she managed to achieve her best result by taking 4th place with Sophie Lennon and ” Solas ” (Light). But Sophie has an active role in this year’s participation of the country, since in ” Aisling “, the song that will represent the country this year , she has written the lyrics together with Niall Mooney , Fiona Mooney & Niamh Mooney . While the music is signed by Niall Mooney , Ken McHugh & Will Weeks . The active role of last year’s representative does not stop here, since in addition to the lyrics, she also participated in the vocals, while she may be on stage with Jessica McKean , this year’s country representative, singing ” Aisling ” together.

🇪🇸 Spain
Spain counts nine participations in the institution, having one victory to its credit. He participated from the very first Junior Eurovision , in 2003, until 2006. Then he took a long break from the competition, finally returning after 13 whole years, in 2019 and since then he has participated continuously. This year through an internal selection, 12-year-old Sandra Valero with the song ” Loviu ” was chosen to represent the country.
Sandra is a successful young artist from Valencia . She started singing at the age of four and now, at twelve, she is a singer , actress and model . Her multiple talents led her to participate in a production of The Bodyguard Musical and a number of TV talent shows including Idol Kids and The Voice Kids (Spain).
Before going to Junior Eurovision , she played the role of Mowgli in a stage production of The Jungle Book. Although her real name is Sandra , her parents call her ” Terremoto ” (Spanish for ” Earthquake “).
Creators of “Loviu” are Luis Vicente Ramiro , David Parejo , Alejandro Martinez & Diego José Cantero .

🇮🇹 Italy
Italy is sending a girls’ duet this year, for the second time in its history to the competition. Melissa & Ranya will sing us ” Un Mondo Giusto ” (A Just World) in two weeks from now at the Palais Nikaia .
Both Melissa and Ranya arrive on the Junior Eurovision stage after participating in the Italian version of “The Voice Kids”.
Melissa fell in love with music during a time when she was suffering from panic attacks. Learning to play drums and piano, sing and write lyrics helped her overcome life’s challenges. Ranya became good friends with Melissa during their competition on The Voice Kids, and although Melissa won the competition, their friendship has deepened and both have found success.

🇲🇹 Malta
Malta is one of the countries participating in the competition since its very first year. He has 19 appearances and just two wins.
This year Yulan won the ticket to Nice by holding a national final . The young singer has performed across Europe and was a finalist on Malta’s Got Talent in 2020 before earlier finishing second on The Voice Kids (Malta).
This was Yulan’s fourth attempt to represent Malta at Junior Eurovision , proving that her determination and boundless ambition, and her approach to the dream know no bounds. In addition to fulfilling her musical ambitions, Yulan would love to study medicine to become a doctor, as helping others is her ultimate goal in life.
The song with which she will represent Malta is entitled ” Stronger ” and is a creation of Yulan herself but also of John-Emil Johansson , Sandra Wikström , Isak Alvedahl , Elise Hedengren .
We remind you that the Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place in Nice , France on Sunday, November 26 at 16:00 CET .
