Today was the opening of the Media Center, in Malmö, Sweden, where the dress rehearsals started. At noon, after the completion of the first dress rehearsal, under the auspices of ESCXTRA, the first press poll of the year was held.
This year, ESCXTRA is working with OGAE Sweden, ESC Insight and The EuroTrip Podcast to create an audience poll, which will reflect the feeling of the audience for the qualifiers of Eurovision 2024! The volunteers asked the audience who watched the second dress rehearsal from the stadium which of the 15 performances of the semi-final was their favorite. In total, 3079 viewers voted.

So according to viewers, Croatia had the best performance today, gathering an astonishing 37,90% of votes and leaving Ireland in 2nd place, with 16,09% of the votes. In third place was Finland with 7,59 % of total votes. Lithuania,Ukraine,Australia,Cyprus,Portugal,Luxembourg and Poland complete the top ten. Slovenia barely missed the top ten, while Azerbaijan took the last place, with only 0,65% of the votes!
Also, the fans could vote for the 3 of 6 pre-qualified acts of tonight’s show. So, Sweden came at top with 159 votes,followed by United Kingdom with 107 votes and Germany with 48 votes.
