Ireland’s 6 nominated songs for Eurovision 2023 were announced today. As we reported in a previous article, Ireland’s National Final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 (Eurosong 2023) is set to take place on the 3rd of February, with a special broadcast of ‘The Late Late Show’. On today’s RTE Radio 1 radio show ‘The Ryan Tubridy Show’, we learned for the first time the artists and songs that will be competing:
- ADGY – Too Good for Your Love (you can listen to it here)
- CONNOLLY – Midnight Summer Night
- K Muni & ND – Down in the Rain
- Leila Jane – Wild
- Public Image Ltd. – Hawaii
- Wild Youth – We Are One (you can listen to it here)
The head of the Irish delegation and executive producer of RTE, Michael Kealy, has suggested that several important changes will be introduced this year, in the way the song is selected. We expect more details to be released in the coming days.
