ERT, as we have informed you in a previous article, decided this year to change the selection procedure for our participation in the 67th Eurovision Song Contest.
With an open call to the Greek public, he decided to open up to the Greek fans of Eurovision so that they have a say in the choice of the Greek participation.
Specifically, 70 people of all ages were drawn today, Monday 19 December 2022, and on Wednesday 28 December they will have the opportunity to attend the ERT Radio Hall, where they will listen to and evaluate the candidate songs.
The process of informing those drawn by telephone has already begun. Those who cannot attend the competition for any reason will be replaced, in accordance with the rules, by the runners-up, who have also been drawn by age category.
The interest for the participation of the Greek audience was huge this year, as ERT’s platform received a total of 2,982 entries in just one weekend.
